Who is responsible

Data stored on your device
The app stores your selected ticker symbols, their order, and the most recently retrieved quote and chart information in shared local app storage. This lets the app and its Home Screen widgets show your watchlist.
Removing a stock removes it from the stored watchlist. Deleting the app removes its local data according to iOS behavior. Verbeet does not maintain a server-side copy of your watchlist.
Market-data requests
When you search for a security or refresh market information, the app sends the search text or ticker symbol to Yahoo Finance endpoints over HTTPS. The request also necessarily includes ordinary connection information such as your IP address and user-agent information.
Yahoo handles that information under its own privacy terms. Stocks does not add an account identifier, advertising identifier, contact information, or precise location to these requests.
What we do not collect
We do not collect names, email addresses, brokerage credentials, payment information, contacts, precise location, usage analytics, or advertising data through Stocks. The app does not create profiles or track you across apps and websites.
Retention and your choices
Local watchlist information remains until you remove entries or delete the app. Because we receive no personal account data from the app, there is no Stocks cloud account to access or delete. Privacy questions can be sent to hello@verbeet.com.
Changes
We will update this policy before materially changing how Stocks handles information. The current version will remain available at this address.
