These terms govern use of Debts, a service provided by Verbeet UG (haftungsbeschränkt). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
The service
Debts lets users record claims, split expenses, calculate balances, and acknowledge payments. Entries are supplied and reviewed by users. Debts does not hold or transfer money, operate a bank account, extend credit, collect debts, or provide financial or legal advice.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of information you enter, for reviewing claims before accepting them, for protecting your account, and for resolving disagreements directly with the other participant. Do not use Debts to harass, threaten, defraud, impersonate, or unlawfully expose another person.
IBAN sharing
Saving an IBAN is optional. It is shared only after the owner accepts a request from an intended payer. Users remain responsible for confirming payment details through an appropriate independent channel before sending money.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep Debts reliable, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, maintenance, or product improvement.
Accounts
We may restrict or terminate accounts used unlawfully or in a way that harms other users or the service. You may delete your account from the app. The handling of shared records and legally required retention is explained in the privacy policy.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Debts is provided without a guarantee that user-entered claims are accurate, enforceable, or paid, and we are not responsible for transfers made outside the app.
